James Ellis interview on Radio Bristol is well worth a listen A true quality of his is that he can explain everything in a way that anyone can understand + he is open and shares everything he can He is quite clearly an expert of his trade - let’s hope his work brings results
Rio Cardines has got an assist in five straight league games, the first to do so in the Championship in 12 years. Opta Analyst (@OptaAnalyst) He's the first to do five in a row in the Championship since Ross McCormack in October/November 2014 (thanks to @JRCooper26 for that one). — http://nitter.cider.army/OptaAnalyst/status/2099477385426944183#m
Feel like I’ve barely recovered from the game on Saturday and we go again Lincoln are definitely no mugs and there’s obviously extra on the line with the Skubala factor A game we should probably win, but will still be a big test Also a big decision to make on Dickie imo Bristol City FC (@BristolCity) Under the lights tomorrow night. 🏟️ — http://nitter.cider.army/BristolCity/status/2099417870572884009#m
The question is - are those limitations acceptable for the positives that he can bring to the team? Have a feeling he will do a bit better against Lincoln and Watford for example
Don't mean to single out Dickie but I found yesterday quite worrying and he has been worrying at other times this season He is an experienced player who knows his limitations and has to mould his game around them, the first goal where he backed off epitomised that imo The Robin’s Nest (Tom) (@RobinNestBCFC) Dickies weaknesses exposed in both of the goals today Running at him 1 v 1 is his kryptonite — http://nitter.cider.army/RobinNestBCFC/status/2098794998279938503#m
That being said - Southampton have some of the best players in the division up top Larin and Azaz are going to cause any defences problems but still a bit worrying nonetheless
Reflecting on yesterdays game Positives to take even after losing 4-1 Some of the attacking play and mentality was brilliant and on another day we take more of those chances (at Preston we did) That being said, defensively it was worrying - particularly in the middle
He’s not had a good game defensively at all today He’s been absolutely pissed past for most of the goals today The Robin’s Nest (Tom) (@RobinNestBCFC) Dickies weaknesses exposed in both of the goals today Running at him 1 v 1 is his kryptonite — http://nitter.cider.army/RobinNestBCFC/status/2098794998279938503#m
What on earth has happened today?! How are we losing 4-1 😆 So many chances and great attacking play but didn’t take hardly any of them Defending not good at all for all of their goals That’s what good teams do can do to you

I think that the most straightforward and appropriate words I can write now are - Andy King, I can categorically say, you are a manager's dream. In his younger days, he was a player with drive, ability and goals. In his pomp, a player with drive, ability, goals and influence. In his renaissance years, a player with ability, knowledge, influence, empathy, coaching ability, not so many goals, but a personality that is worth everything to a football club. Anyone who knows anything about the game, knows exactly what a character like @AndyKingy delivers, on and off the field. Your career, my friend, has been one I admire. Why? Because you are one of the very few who has maximised the gifts you have. Good luck for tomorrow, enjoy your time with your lovely family, and best wishes for your future whatever you decide to do next. Cheers, Nige.
A super save from @maxoleary10 today! 👏 Video
Think a majority of us are just asking for us to put an ounce of effort in today, obviously we don’t want to lose, but losing without trying is just a kick in the teeth
